We reached 800 Kiva loans\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Six years after becoming <\/span>Kiva<\/span><\/a>\u2019s first non-MFI partner, we today celebrate 800 loans raised on the Kiva platform to provide more than 4800 people with their Sistema.bio digester. Kiva is one of our key long-term strategic partner for growth, working together with us since the initial stages of our journey. Today we thank all of the people who lend on Kiva\u2019s platform for their support on this path of creating value from waste.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout our expansion efforts in Kenya, we have played host to several special visitors at our Nairobi Office. <\/span>Shell Foundation<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Kenya climate ventures<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>LCEF<\/span><\/a>– <\/span>OPES Fund<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>ENGIE Rassembleurs D\u2019Energies<\/span><\/a>, Triodos Bank<\/a>, Rent To Own<\/a>, <\/span>Factor (E)<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Value 4 Women<\/span><\/a>, Alpha Mundi<\/a>, SEEWO<\/a>, <\/span>Heifer Internationa<\/span><\/a>l among others came through our Nairobi and field offices to meet our team and visit some of our clients. All of these visits have been business centred. They have been some of our earliest supporters\u2019 throughout our expansion journey. The visit gave them an opportunity to see our work in action.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, who could give a best sense of our work than our clients who are the primary and daily users of our products and services? George Kariuki was one of the clients who volunteered to host with us this incredible visitors in his home. George proved to be a good interviewee, not just because he was among the first adopters of our products but because he has literally made his entire village a \u201cSistema.bio village\u201d by influencing more than 30 smallholder farmers to adopt Sistema.bio\u2019s Hybrid Reactors. Every time he explains the savings and profitable economics of Sistema.bio\u2019s products and services and the challenges his community faces is gaining access to sustainable energy solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shell Foundation<\/a> has been Sistema.bio\u2019s partner and investor since 2017, providing important support and mentoring in communication, marketing, sales and scale strategy. The Foundation has accompanied Sistema.bio in launching operations in East Africa and India, two more promising markets. The entry to the market in Kenya is unprecedented in the history of Sistema.bio. Thanks to Sistema.bio business model, High-quality biodigester, and effective follow-up program, we have reached a record sales level in just 6 months of operation in Kenya, The same is expected for India.
