Nestlé Pilot Project in Mexico
The Mexican team and Nestlé partnered this summer to implement a pilot program that will impact small and medium-sized livestock farmers. In this first stage, we aim to install 100 biodigesters in the Jalisco region, after which we plan to expand into other regions where Nestlé Mexico has operations. The beneficiaries are part of Nestlé’s supply chain where 100% of farmer’s milk production is distributed to the company. In order to fulfill the farms’ energy and fertilizer demands, we will be installing Sistemas 12, 20 and 40.
Joint efforts are taking place to market the program among Nestlé farmers’ network. The Sistema.bio team is performing demonstration events, the first was held last July 31 in Tepatitlán, Jalisco, and more events are coming in the next weeks.
Customer Service pilot project
Our HUB in Mexico City is doing a Customer Care pilot project that will be targeting more than 500 Sistema.bio users. This project is organized by Mexico’s director, Graciela Álvarez, and is executed by Itzel Cortés (Technical Sales Representative) with the support of Xunaxi Cruz (Communications Director) and David Toxqui (Data Coordinator).
The initiative has four main objectives: first, to update Mexico’s contacts database from 2016 to 2018; second, to verify the status of our installed biodigesters and provide further technical assistance; third, to upsell our new accessories; and last, to obtain leads for our referral program.
The first results have been obtained by contacting around 50% of the assigned contacts. By operating until late September 2019, the initiative will help us update our customer data in Salesforce and drive sales opportunities.
